Breakfast at Quail's Covey is a highlight of your stay, featuring seasonal farm-to-table ingredients, many sourced directly from our garden or local farms. Each morning begins with fresh-baked pastries, seasonal fruit, and freshly squeezed juices. The hot entrée changes daily and might include stuffed French toast with maple syrup from neighboring trees, farm-fresh egg frittatas with herbs from our garden, or buttermilk pancakes with homemade berry preserves. We accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice. Breakfast is served family-style in our sunny dining room or, weather permitting, on the wraparound porch with views of the meadows.

What outdoor activities are available on the property?

Our 20-acre property offers numerous outdoor activities right outside your door. Guests enjoy access to private walking trails through meadows and woodland (approximately 2 miles of trails total), a stocked pond for catch-and-release fishing (equipment provided), bird and wildlife watching stations with binoculars and guidebooks, and gardens to explore. The property features several seating areas, including a fire pit where we host s'mores on weekend evenings (weather permitting), and hammocks for afternoon reading. In winter, the property is ideal for snowshoeing, and we have equipment available for guest use. Seasonal guided nature walks are offered on Saturday mornings.

Shopping at Belden Village Mall is a 10-minute drive. For guests attending events at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, we're approximately 10-12 minutes away. We provide detailed driving directions to all major attractions and can recommend scenic routes that showcase the beauty of Stark County.

Yes, Quail's Covey is ideal for special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, or intimate elopements. For elopements or vow renewals, our garden gazebo provides a beautiful setting for ceremonies of up to 10 guests, and we can assist with arrangements for a justice of the peace, flowers, and a small cake. With advance notice, we can also arrange for a private dinner on the property prepared by a local chef. Please note that while we welcome celebrations, we maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all guests, so loud parties are not permitted.
